About This Project

Flor da Selva is a Portuguese family-owned coffee roaster holding a special place in my heart. An authentic hidden gem of Lisbon that has gained momentum over the years. Located in Madragoa, one of the city’s most emblematic neighborhoods, Flor da Selva has been roasting coffee for almost 70 years. Francisco, the grandson of its founder, is reshaping the business according to consumers’ current needs and the results are more than evident. They’re exclusive providers of many trendy coffee shops such as The Mill, Fauna & Flora, Heim Café and Dear Breakfast. As I mentioned on another occasion, one can’t simply resist coffee’s marvelous aroma early in the morning. Roasted in a firewood oven, with a natural and additive-free composition… It’s the best energy boost ever.

My Tribute to Flor da Selva

My Facebook post is a genuine tribute to the very best coffee of Portugal. In pure storytelling.
